Again we will be in Washington DC to counter the Anti-War Anti-American element of our nation. A.N.S.W.E.R., Code Pink and the IVAW, who want this Country to surrender to Terrorism. Pic’s and an account of our efforts will be posted as soon as I return. That won’t be till next Wed. the 20th. After DC I will be in Pittsburgh on March 19th, to stand in with our Recruiters at their office against threats that were made this week. I will post an account of that the 20th. We were proud of all the new Marines who graduated from training Company M. and none prouder then Lori of her son PFC Cory Walker. As ex-army I never understood the connection all Marines have for one another. Two days on Parris Island and I started to get the picture. I have no doubt that PFC Walker will serve in that time honored tradition and make us all proud. As we left the Island with Cory we stopped for lunch. An Italian place not far from the main gate on route 802. J.P.’s Place, run by a ex-army green beret named Vito. During lunch more new Marines came in with their families, in all 8 new Marines were there. Vito asked them all to stand and then he gave a speech. He told them his father and his four children were Marines and about his own service in the Army. He gave each one a hug and a hand-shake and their meal was on the house. They were all told they could call him anytime if they needed help and gave them his card. The families of all the new Marines were given a discount on our meals, which were excellent, and I know good Italian. Just wanted to share this, another patriot doing what he can for our Troops. March 15th, 2008 will mark the 1 year reunion of The Gathering Of Eagles. On March 17, 2007 the silent majority stood up and became silent no more. Out of that Gathering new groups formed, The Gathering Of Eagles and Eagles Up. New leaders stepped up, Col. Harry Riley, Cpt. Larry Bailey and Chris Hill. In the last 10 months these groups of American Patriots joined with others, Move America Forward, Rolling Thunder, Soldiers Angels and many others to do some amazing things to support our Brave Troops as they defend our Country. We will Gather again in Washington DC on March 15th as we did 3-17-07, 5-26-07, 9-15-07 and 11-11-07 to show our support with Boots On The Ground. Lets make sure this is the biggest and best Gathering of Love and Support for our Brave Troops and Their Mission.
Thanks to all for a great job. Move America Forward and The GOE helped collect over 200,000 Christmas, Holiday and Hanakkuha Cards for our brave troops this Holiday and Christmas season. MAF and Gold Star mother Debbie Lee are in Iraq sharing Christmas with our troops and making sure everyone of them know that they are honored here at home. We The People will be silent no more. As the finest, bravest and most committed men and women of this generation are putting their lives on the line to protect this country, Hanoi Jane, Cindy Sheehan and ANSWER are planning yet another ANTI-AMERICAN rally to undermine their efforts and surrender our country to the enemy. Gathering Of Eagles Chairman Captain Larry Bailey has organized GOE III, Eagles Landing, on September 15, 2007 to counter this movement. I was there March 17, 2007. I saw their signs calling our brave soldiers baby killers and demanding the impeachment of our President. These are the same people who demand their rights but will never step forward and defend yours. They say they are patriots, I say they are cowards and traitors. Our mission on September 15, 2007 is to silence their voice and unite all true American Patriots in supporting our brave soldiers in their fight against terrorism. We will never again let the weak and spineless dictate the direction of this country. hem. He shook everyones hand and hugged all the girls, lol. A real US Soldier. Sat. was awesome, we rallied in front of the Washington Monument and then marched up Constitution Ave. The people of DC were surprised to see us. They are use to the MOONBATS and a Pro Troops Pro America Parade was something new and from their response very welcome. I will finish this wonderful story later as we are off on another rally here in Pittsburgh. Pic’s will also be posted.
